Bunker Eindhoven

The current construction represents a bunker in which student housing has been realized. The (re)development will entail the realization of 200+ residential units, 100+ underground parking spaces and 5,200 sq.m. GFA for commercial purposes. On the current construction, the bunker, an enormous tower of over 100 meter will arise containing the residential and commercial units.

The project development team advised its clients Being Development & RED Company throughout the entire development of the multifunctional tower, to be developed. The project will be sold and transferred to a housing corporation and real estate investors. The team advised on the civil law and public aspects of the acquisition of the land, the construction agreement and the SPA.

The project development team assisted RJB Group of Companies, a private real estate concern, on the purchase of the 'Valley', a project which will be fully developed in 2021. Our multi-disciplinary team assisted on the LOI, SPA, closing and tax issues.

The iconic building 'The Valley' is to be developed in the business district Zuidas in Amsterdam. The main feature of the design is the abundance of greenery, which will give it the look and feel of an exuberant green valley. The design of 'The Valley' is future proof with regard to the sustainability and healthy living.

The Flow  

The project development team advised Dutch project developers TBD and MVSA Architects on all relevant stages of the development and subsequent sale of the innovative building The Flow. An interdisciplinary team of attorneys, civil-law notaries and tax advisers was involved in this project.

The Flow, an office development situated in the Amsterdam port district, is a next generation concept that stands out because of its emphasis on healthy and sustainable workplaces. The building is on track to be completed in July 2019 with 40% already pre-let to three tenants from creative industries.

Hans-Mark also has extensive experience in construction law, property finance, zoning and planning and environmental issues.

Arjen de Snoo has extensive experience in administrative law and assists clients in relation to zoning and planning, environmental and nature preservation law, land policy and expropriation.

He has a lot of practical experience in guiding and counseling the government as well as private partners, especially on the implementation of new innovative laws like the Spatial Planning Act (2008), the Crisis and Recovery Act (2010) and coming Environment and Planning Act (2021).

Arjen has handed many cases involving advice and litigation before the civil courts and the Council of State. He represents governmental bodies as well as private partners in sectors like project development, infrastructure and (renewable) energy.

Leen is most known for his expertise in real estate transactions, turnkey projects, project development and tenancy law.

His practice involves all aspects of the real estate industry with particular emphasis on representation of (institutional) investors and project developers in (complex) real estate acquisitions and developments. His clients include some of the most recognized investors and developers such as Aberdeen Standard Investors and Prologis.

He also regularly teaches on real estate transactions, project development and tenancy law.

Elsbeth Meijboom
Senior Associate

Elsbeth Meijboom specialises in real estate law, particularly assisting investors and developers in (large scale) development projects and real estate transactions involving i.e. office buildings, residential property and logistics.

She advises on matters relating to multifunctional land use, such as ground lease, right of superficies, division into apartment rights, easements and other restricted rights.

Also, Elsbeth assists clients in their due diligence investigations and drafting and negotiating of full suites of transaction documents, including the letter of intent, the purchase agreement, the transfer deed and related finance documents.
