FOZ Building 

The office building FOZ was developed and constructed in 2009. It is situated in the Mahler4 quadrant, the first developed part of the well-known business district Zuidas Amsterdam. Characteristic for the building are the windows, they are designed to resemble a specific angle of daylight, inspired by the Dutch painter Vermeer.

The real estate transactions team advised its client Rockspring Property Investment on the acquisition of office building FOZ, which is leased to several high profile tenants.

The real estate transactions team advised Millten B.V., Harvest Vastgoed B.V. and the consortium of (private) investors on the acquisition of the monumental ‘’Westergasfabriek’’ terrain in Amsterdam, including all relevant corporate, notarial and tax work. 

This beautiful city park, with its historic factory buildings surrounded by expanses of green, also has workplaces, venues for large and small events, and a range of catering, film, theatre and exhibition facilities.

Hans-Mark is well known for his involvement in many high profile development, lease and property investment transactions, especially in hotels & leisure, retail and residential. He is an extremely powerful dealmaker with 25 years of experience. 

Clients of Hans-Mark include a variety of real estate (related) companies, including property funds and investors, developers, engineering companies, retail companies, hotel operators and investors, corporate occupiers, construction companies, industrial and logistic companies and housing corporations.

Hans-Mark also has extensive experience in construction law, property finance, zoning and planning and environmental issues.

Leen is most known for his expertise in real estate transactions, turnkey projects, project development and tenancy law.

His practice involves all aspects of the real estate industry with particular emphasis on representation of (institutional) investors and project developers in (complex) real estate acquisitions and developments. His clients include some of the most recognized investors and developers such as Aberdeen Standard Investors and Prologis.

He also regularly teaches on real estate transactions, project development and tenancy law.

Rutger advises national and international companies on various property transactions. He specialises on property portfolio transactions and offers particular expertise in the hotel sector.

The real estate transactions team advised its client, RJB Group of Companies, a Dutch privately held real estate group, in the off-market acquisition of two office properties, with a combined transaction value of over 100 million euro. This transaction is referred to by the market as a trophy assets acquisition.

RJB Group – Stadhouderskade 

This portfolio of two landmark office properties in the historic center of Amsterdam consists of the national monument building 'Stadhouderskade I (3.000 m² lettable area and 66 parking spaces) and the nearby building located at Weesperstraat 107-121 (10.300 m² lettable area and 62 parking spaces).
